Hawker Hurricane and Zero issues

By Rick Martin, in Wings of War (WWII)

Just a few thoughts on the World War II minis:

1) The Zero should have a slightly higher manuverability that what the cards give it. I have tried to allow the Zero player to be able to do 90 degree turns per scenario/battle in order to even this out. It seemed to work well.

2) The Hawker Hurricane was generally regarded as being more sturdy than the Spitfire primarily due to the fact that some of the plane's hull was fabric covered and mg bullets just tended to pass through the fabric and not hit anything vital. What about giving the Hurricane 2 more HPs to reflect this?

What do the forum readers think about these issues - how would approach these?

Thanks,

Rick

We have had some discussions over at the Wings of War Aerodrome about the Zero that you might find interesting, have a look at them here:

Zero and Wildcat fix

Zero a little too strong

I'm sure the guys would jump in on the Hurricane damage point discussion if you brought it up.
