Character Drawings

By tisander, in WFRP Gamemasters

I like to draw. I need all the practice I can get. Does anyone want to see my creative concept of their character?

Just describe them here, and a drawing will appear.... the more detail you give me, the more like your character the drawing will be.

(I will email the drawings to any player who wants the file of theirs.)

Sounds cool! Here's some info. about my character :)

  • Female wood elf
  • Athletic build
  • Long, flowing brown hair with an orange oak leaf by her ear
  • Oak leaf necklace
  • Orange/green theme for her clothing
  • Leather armor
  • Long cloak

Ok - here's an npc that's tagging along with my players at the moment. I wouldn't mind having a picture of him.

Human male - mercenary

tall, broad of shoulder

Long scruffy blonde hair - but cleanly shaven

Wears chain and uses a 2 handed sword (usually worn slung over his back if not in use), he also has a couple of throwing axes at his belt. His cloak is old an well used.

He is easy to get on with, and ready with a smile and a joke, but is deadly serious in combat.

Er... i have always thought of Vikings when thinking of him (for some reason).

Well, that turned out pretty awesome, thanks! Did you have a high-res png/bmp file version? I'm definitely gonna print this out for my upcoming rpg campaign :)

Always happy to help, especially when I get the occasion to see something come to life :)

A beautiful but very stern looking human female priestess of Morr, wearing the traditional robes. She carries a normal, although somewhat gnarled wooden staff and tends to use the Touch of Morr (right hand) when something gets close.

dirty blond hair, in very big curls.

She got petrified last session... might be an idea for half statue/half person as the effect wears off.

Thanks in advance for the offer.

Thanks, Tisander,

Excellent drawing of my Merc - almost exactly as pictured him.

I might have others that I wouldn't mind sketched - but I don't want to be greedy. I'll let other's in the community have their go first...

Thanks again. aplauso.gif

I do not see a way to send private messages in these forums. You can write me at...

payne underscore 222 at hotmail

This includes anyone who wants a file from me. Thanks.

Also, more related to this part of the forum, if any other GM's want some sketches of NPC's or monsters(your inventions) or just a castle home to a NPC. Whatever it may be, if you want a sketch, just post here, I'll get to them asap. I get better with every drawing which is the whole point, so things other than people also welcome.

Cool,

I think I like Munchkin's mercenary better, he's got that care-free up for anything look in his eyes :)

My goodness, these are really high grade works, and completely fitting to the setting. If the artist finds the time and inspiration, I'd like to see an NPC I'm using. She's a young noblewoman of the von Bruner family.

  • She's extremely generously proportioned,
  • very good natured,
  • wears hair in two long blond braids
  • likes to live dangerously and meet with the PC's covertly, so she goes out in the night wearing a black dress, with a big tri-corn hat and a not very subtle repeater handgun

So let's see what the artists makes of her :)

Cheers!

Nice stuff. I wish I could find the time to do some Warhammer Fantasy art.

:( its not easy, to bad I cant do this stuff for a living lol

OK, so now I have to admit that I know very little of the Warhammer setting. Back when I would role play, Gary was still writing to best books(rest his soul).

So, I do not know what Morr is or what the robe would look like. I tried to research it but didn't find much readily available. So... I just started drawing. Hope you like it.

Neat-o :)

My fault, I should have specified what the robes looked like :)
It came out perfectly, very nice work.

Yes, really nice stuff. I would be happy if you could make a portrait for my character.

He's an ex-soldier (ex-pistoleer) by the name of Dieter Hoch,

  • about 40 years old
  • wiry, lean build (str 3, t 4, agi 4)
  • about 170 cm long (guess that's about 5'8''), ~70 kg (165lbs, I think?)
  • bushy eyebrows and a drooping moustache (no beard though), brown hair, but a fair bit of grey in it.
  • wears a mailshirt (but that might not show at a first glance) and clothes of pretty good make (although a bit
    worn). Renaissance shirt (puffy arms).
  • Sturdy leather boots
  • Leather belt with a sword and pistol (although broken) attached
  • Crossbow in hands, although feel free to put the sword or pistol there if that's more fun to you.

Cheers

^^ nice one

I forgot one thing, he should also have a hat with a feather plume as a nice finishing touch :)

He is a SIgmar priest

- tall about 1,75m
- well-build, strong and massive
- bald with grey little overgrowth
- he had a straight scar cross his left eye

- full-plate armor without helmet
- two-handed hammer
- cloak
-diadem made of steel
-a gold belt tied a couple times around the body with priestly typings at the entire lenght

thanks in advance

Spot on! You are awesome!!! happy.gif

My pleasure. And thanks to everyone else as well for the nice comments.

Nice to know that my chicken scratches can be of some use :)

I only have one thing to say.... wow!

Great drawings man, keep up the good work. A real pleasure seeing personalized artwork for Warhammer.

Amber Wizard

A bear of a man with excessive body hair. He has bones and trinkets woven into his long braided hair and beard. He's missing an eye, but doesn't cover it. One half of his face is tattooed with a spread ravens wing. Large hairy hands with long ragged nails. He wears an assortment of skins and furs, wrapped tight at the forearm and calf, but his feet and hands are uncovered. He has a fur kilt around his waist, with a leather bag, decorated with beads and stones, in front from which he is perpetually pulling bones and fetishes. He wears a thick fur cloak, pushed back over his shoulders, but nearly long enough to reach the ground. He carries a spiraling vine and wields it like a staff. There is almost always a raven perched on the staff.

Other details: He is tall, but stands slightly stooped. His canines are a bit long, but not unnaturally so. His face scrunches up a bit around his scarred eye giving him a perpetual sneer.

This is really great stuff! Love every single drawing so far. Personally, I like the black&white sketches better than the coloured one.

If you can find some time and motivation to draw some more, I´d be really happy to see a character, Ive been playing for years now.

He´s a human bard with excelltent skills in playing his lute, singing and dancing.

He´s in his early 40s, slim, has a slender face (is the "slender" the right word for that?), is clean shaven and has short darkish hair, which is getting a little grey at his temples. He likes to dress himself in pompous, colourful quality clothes of silk and velvet, but unfortunately he only has one set of those, which still looks alright, but has definitely seen better days... A little dirt here and there, and some patches at the elbows. When traveling, he wears a musketeerish looking hat with bright colourfull feathers on it. He carries his lute on his back and a rapier on his belt.

He considers himself to be quite a hero, but actually he is more of a coward, looking for a place to hide, when the arrows start flying. When it comes to his skill as a musician (and to his rather high intelligence, compared with the rest of the group), he can be really arrogant. And like every hero, he loves the ladies. And strangely enough, the ladies seem to love him too.

Although he would never admit it, he has a good heart and would help a friend in need without hesitation - if only, to remind him of about that for the years to come...
