I just downloaded the Strange Eons Extension yesterday (thanks Hurlanc and others who made it), so I thought I'd try to make some things. This is what I came up with so far. Some of these are based on Enemy Within herbs, and some things I had in an old warhammer conversion I did a few years ago. I'm still learning the rules so some of my herb cards might need tweaking. Just a rough draft.

Yay! These are awesome! Maybe you should include some rules of using them for those not owning previous editions. Also 2 first pics seem to be broken.

Great one, thanks. That was a very good idea to make those cards. :)

Thoughts on a rule:

A character must be skilled in Nature Lore in order to try and identify or cultivate herbs. A specialization in Herbalism is preferred but not necessary. The "Difficulty to Cultivate" listed on the card represents the type of challenge needed to identify and cultivate herbs. It can also be used for a basis on purchases, should a character try to find or buy the herbs in a market. The time required to find an herb is determined by the skill check. The base time is 1 hour plus 1 hour per delay symbol rolled.

Here is another herb. You rub it in your eyes.

I assume the Hawkweed is referring to night vision when they say you can see twice as far, correct?

I was thinking of distance and range increments rather than night vision but if a player asked during a session, I would definitely consider it.

A new one:

I could not find official disease rules so i left this open to interpretation by GM's.

I'm new to printing game cards. How can I get them perfectly sized? Also, I think it'd be cool if there was a picture of the herb on the other side of each card.

Printed out from the Strange Eons program the scaling should be perfect.

However, if you are having troblem you could try a program like MS Word. Insert the picture into a document and then Format > Size. You can then control the size of the printout directly.

Thanks, I'll try downloading that program.
