Compel Interactions, I need help!

I recently picked up the Stormtrooper upgrade pack as my friends and I are starting to get into the game. It comes with a specialist, 2 cool new guns and the Stormtrooper Captain. I really only have Vader and Krennic as commanders right now and thought that Compel would be a cool ability to use with my army, specially with Vader's crazy immunity to panic! I wanted to know what the interaction was with Stormtrooper Captain's ability and compel. I was under the impression you choose the order abilities resolve in, so would you be able to Compel and then use the captain? Does the captain also stop end of activation effects like Endurance from happening?

the captain would need to be activated to nullify suppression at the start of the turn, if you activate later you are already determined as suppressed which would last your turn. so if you activate the captain you cannot compel, as it requires you to be suppressed activate it later you are already suppressed and cannot become suppressed as you were already. Ao the timing of th captain is pretty much fixed to starr of turn to be useful

In that case you cannot choose the order of the effects because they have different timing. The Captain's effect is "When you activate" so it happens as soon as you decide that you're activating that unit, and Compel happens after that unit's rally step. So if you decide to use the Captain's effect, you cannot use Compel on that unit that turn as the unit won't be suppressed.

Regarding your other question, an effect like Endurance is not prevented from happening as the Captain's effect only lasts until the end of the unit's activation, so it doesn't affect effects that happen in any other instance.
