Since we now have some good choices for i5 in the republic (sorry oddball) I thought it should be taken advantage of.

I’m stuck though as I know this list wants a bid, but I really wanna put either thermal on Contrail or Patience on Obi-wan. I also can’t decide which Obi to use. I like clt as it’s a classic, but also a really heavy hitter. Plus his ability is more supportive of the others when necessary.

However the Eta-2 hits like a truck but is extremely fragile. This version also takes stealth device from Aayla which makes her super tanky.

If you're looking to spend two points on the second list I would strongly recommend putting an R4 on Contrail. Opening up the speed 1 maneuvers is great particularly since I found myself making heavy use of the linked boost > lock.

I had created a topic some time ago on this idea aswell.

Take R2-A6 on Aayla! (And predator too) She really benefits from it because it helps her control range and at the same time helps her line up her bullseye. Predator is too cheap not to be taken in these types of efficiency lists.

Definetely agree with CLT Obi, combos really well with Aayla's ability.

I prefer Contrail naked, because he is too obvious as a first target, so he prefers to take focus over TL and you don't want to give away free points.

Ric is a coin toss between upgrades and naked, but i like bids so i keep him naked aswell.

If you are taking Aethersprite Obi, I don't see the need for Brilliant Evasion. You save the Focus, which is just straight out better. Instead I would invest the points in Sense on Aayla or Obi. It helps immensely with the Actis ability. Although I am myself a great fan of Daredevil Ric and Actis Obi. So gonna try this myself. Not sold on Contrail Vs Odd Ball yet.
