So, has there evet been an offical word about if Runes and Verse can use in any shape or form the new spells from the EPB? I figure that they should be able to some, but I wondered what others have come up with if there isn't an offical word,

There's no "official" word, per se, but Sam Stewart did talk a bit about it on The Forge podcast (episode 13). First of all, they didn't necessarily design the EPG with RoT in mind. I'm pretty sure he said it should be perfectly fine if Runes got Predict and Verse got Mask.
