Personally, I would rather we get a generic super tactical droid expansion, that comes with a selection of "titles" for the droid that give them their own quirks or abilities, allowing us to paint up and field the various different named super tactical droids we see throughout the series like Kalani, Aut-O, Kraken, etc. without having to release a million different packs of the same model.
DO you think We'll get General Kalani from the Clone Wars Show?

Agreed, and then you could have a parallel Clone Commander expansion with Cody, Bly, Wolfe, Gree, Fox, etc... while also having a generic. I know there are generics coming out with the Specialists expansions (albeit T-series for CIS) but I think that would be super cool for CW era and you could do the same for GCW with Rebel characters such as Dodonna, Reikan and Madine and on the Imperial side you could throw in guys like Tagge, Bast and of course Thrawn. Do we need an individual expansion for all of those characters? Well yes, but actually probably not but maybe. Will it happen? Probably not. Could it happen in a combined expansion? Yes. Will it actually happen? probably not, but a man can dream.

Judging by the array of 'person with a gun' commanders we have in the game already, Im confident that they can come up with ways to make a few support oriented commanders work differently from each other.
Just on this topic. Anyone think Ffg could do some sort of forward ops base? Like an emplacement but with a commander profile, or upgrade for the more weedy type of leader. Could have extended range on the table for orders, armour defence, stationary but be poor at giving its own attack.

Why not both? Just include cards for both the commander and operative versions of Ahsoka and Ventress in the box. Kill two birds with one stone as they say.
