Detachment stipulates that the detached unit must be deployed within a speed 1 move from the parent unit. Would that mean that I could deploy my main shore trooper unit right on the edge of my deployment zone and then deploy my mortar a speed 1 move outside the deployment zone?

Presumably, this also means if a Shore unit has Recon Intel, you deploy them first, do your speed 1 move, then deploy the Mortar later at speed 1distance from that Shore unit.

Yes.

Also, if mother unit has infiltrate, then the detachment infiltrates too.

That's not tbe case with shores of course
