Trying to find a Starhawk list that actually feels like a fleet.

By DakkaDakka12, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

So I have been tinkering away since I cant play and I have come up with two opposite ideas. I was hoping to avoid Hawk 134.

Name: Starhawk Grand Fleet

• Kyrsta Agate (20)
• Skilled First Officer (1)
• Strategic Adviser (4)
• Local Fire Control (4)
• Linked Turbolaser Towers (7)
• Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array (10)
= 196 Points

CR90 Corvette A (44)

= 75 Points

Total Points: 400

or

Name: Big fight
Faction: Rebel
Commander: Kyrsta Agate

Assault: Most Wanted
Defense: Fire Lanes
Navigation: Salvage Run

Starhawk Battleship Mark II (150)
• Lando Calrissian (4)

MC75 Armored Cruiser (104)
• Kyrsta Agate (20)
• Strategic Adviser (4)
• External Racks (3)
• XI7 Turbolasers (6)

• Boosted Comms (4)
• Bright Hope (2)
= 24 Points

Squadrons:
• 5 x A-wing Squadron (55)
= 55 Points

Total Points: 399

Any thoughts? I kinda like the 2nd list more, but Idk what I can drop to get leading shots on the Hawk and the 75

The Magnites.

Both ships have Xi7s, negating the Redirect, and with good positioning of them, the ship or ships you want to destroy wont be able to escape a killbox, meaning you dont need Magnites to force an advantaged position

Do you think thats better than switching to the mkI hawk? I had hopes of pulling off speed 0 shenanigans if things worked out, but Idk if its viable with this list.

I like the ships in that, but that Starhawk build looks odd, C&S give you rerolls so why are you using LTT? I don't feel confident controlling a command 4 ship without some means of controlling my actions if I desperately need a nav or engineer action. Is the hawk spamming squad command the whole game?

what about this for a Speed 0 first player fleet? I would have alternating Nav and Eng dials on the Starhawk

Starhawk Battleship Mark I (140)
• Lando Calrissian (4)
• Ray Antilles (7)
• Phylon Q7 Tractor Beams (6)
• Leading Shots (4)
• Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array (10)
• Concord (12)
= 183 Points

MC75 Armored Cruiser (104)
• Kyrsta Agate (20)
• Strategic Adviser (4)
• Local Fire Control (4)
• Reinforced Blast Doors (5)
• External Racks (3)
• Leading Shots (4)
= 144 Points

GR-75 Medium Transports (18)
• Leia Organa (3)
• Comms Net (2)
= 23 Points

GR-75 Medium Transports (18)
• Ahsoka Tano (2)
• Slicer Tools (7)
• Quantum Storm (1)
= 28 Points

Five activations to get a Last/first, Phylons to pop a nav token on the target prior to Magnites, and Slicers to clear off a nav command following Magnites will keep it locked down for a round.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the points for some Awings.

This is what I have been looking at putting on a TTS game. Go 1st and drop the hammer with the hawk at the right time. Last/1st after dropping to speed 0 and using the magnite to drop them to 0 will hurt if you can line up the double. Use the CR 90 to just feed shields to the hawk and offer flak support

this starhawk main game is reliability, with Antilles, LTT, and C&S your almost always getting good rolls, as for the commands, i usually feel fine planning the entire game of commands out before i run so i haven’t factored in command control. Throwing some points around for Organa could help with that
