Alright, help me out: am I clueless, or is FFG? This released on the 1st of September (some 24 days ago).

Good question. I have a feeling it's because this is the Aconyte books imprint. There's probably some messaging not getting through somewhere. All of the AH books/novella release are confused and confusing to many people. These look like fun reads though. Guess I'll have to see if I can find a copy after I finish Malorie (The sequel to Josh Malerman's Bird Box).

Aconyte are producing tie-in books for Asmodee games.

Aconyte Books are a wholly owned Asmodee subsidiary like Gamegenic. They produce novelizations of many of the Asmodee IP’s like Keyforge, L5R, Pandemic, Descent, Twilight Imperium, and even Marvel.

So far they have announced four books in the Arkham Files Universe, the fourth being Litany of Dreams by Ari Marmell due in April 2021.

The first book Wrath of N’kai was due to be released back in June at UK Games Expo where Josh Reynolds was scheduled to be a guest. But with the current health crisis things have been delayed.

We did put out a call for people who wanted to read the books and do a review for our channel but no one was interested at the time.

FFG have released at least a dozen Arkham Horror novels which did not feature promo cards for any game.

Gorgeous design on Litany of Dreams and the Last Ritual, though.

I thought there was only eight AH novels from FFG (The Dark Waters and Lord of Nightmare trilogies, plus two standalones)???

Also, two of those had promos for Elder Sign, and at least two had promos for Arkham Horror 2E. They were mail-in offers, but still...

For some reason we remembered The Lost Dreamers, The Summons of the Deep, The Yuggoth Contract as longer books not just PDF’s. Although you could count these as promo novellas released with card packs right?

If anyone ends up reading any of these new novels would you kindly post your thoughts about it? Would like to hear someone else's opinion about them before I dive into any of them.

N'Kai was first mentioned in The Mound, published in 1930, so it probably predates Babylon 5.
