Ten with Lock, Calculate and Stress can attack with Primary and have a reroll on one die from FCS and a Calculate and Stress to spend. And then on double tap either Calculate or Stress again. If he doesn't use one, he can keep Calculate for defence.

K-2S0 enables him to have more mods on his double tap.

Its no the validity of how the buffs help Ten, its how he gets them. Unless the Lock is from a previous turn there's no way to get them all on there.

I was also thinking of bringing back "Bump in the Night", or at least a variant. Hera + Saw does it better.

Alas, Advanced Sensors isn't HS legal. 😟

I tried spreading some of the associated 10 points around and this is what I came up with:

Braylen Stramm (52)
Marksmanship (1)
Synced Laser Cannons (6)
Stabilized S-Foils (2)

Ship total: 61 Half Points: 31 Threshold: 4

Ten Numb (48)
Marksmanship (1)
Fire-Control System (2)
Synced Laser Cannons (6)
Stabilized S-Foils (2)

Ship total: 59 Half Points: 30 Threshold: 4

Alexsandr Kallus (68)
Intimidation (3)
Nien Nunb (5)
"Zeb" Orrelios (1)
Hull Upgrade (2)

Ship total: 79 Half Points: 40 Threshold: 8

Total: 199

Nice to see E-Wings getting some love. 😎 🍺

Yeah, also not Hyperspace Legal but oh well. Hopefully that's when the love will come.

Calculate in System Phase, do a Blue Maneuver and take Roll > Red Lock. You have all three required for modding the double tap.

I think there might be a case for 1 in a list, as a damage dealer/distraction but im not sure they're good as the core of the list. Just never had much luck with B's despite wanting them to work.

Going with that idea, I was messing around with what I'd do. This is one take, using T-65 pilots I haven't seen a whole lot of. Might be because they don't work out all that well on the table but, then again, this is theorycrafting.

Garven Dreis (X-Wing) (47)

Ship total: 38 Half Points: 19 Threshold: 2

Arvel might kind of high init for a blocker at I3, but he's primed to set the table if he can pull it off.

Arvel is amazing at I3 as a Bumper. He can move before the I4-6. But if you want to bump lower Initiative, you move slower, take a Focus and ram them with Boost. Quite the fun experience. You just gotta fly him slightly different.

Does sound like fun; thank for the tip! 😎 🍺

I've been using this for a while to maximise double tapping B-Wings. Is it great? No. Is it fun? Yes!

(2) Fire-Control System
Points: 55

(40) "Dutch" Vander [BTL-A4 Y-wing]

Points: 47

(32) AP-5 [Sheathipede-class Shuttle]
(8) K-2SO

Total points: 199

I know people aren't a fan of Gina, but it's possible to get both B-Wings two modded shots, and have them both end up stress free at the end of the turn, which doesn't happen with Braylan, and that can be a problem. Dutch does Dutch stuff, and his ion cannon turret is scary enough to keep people on their toes.

I'm a strong advocate of torps on dutch. Any type will work, from ions to protons.

Personally, I prefer proton torpedoes, with doubletap Ten numb as a wingman. Dutch gives ten the lock, so ten can focus->Roll for double "focus".

It might seem counterintuitive, but ten with fire control system+2 focus mods is actually more powerful than braylen with rerolls and focus. (This is only when double tapping.)

With those two ships, you have a solid joust group, and you can use the remaining ~90 points for flankers or aces
