Correct, an enemy Droid Trooper unit would not be a valid target for the free action granted by You Serve Your Master Well since they cannot be suppressed. Friendly droid troopers would still be valid targets though (which is really only potentially relevant for future releases as Rebels do not right now have any Droid troopers that are not Operatives).

Correct. For Luke's card to target an enemy unit, that unit should be suppressed and droid troopers cannot be suppressed.
