Every time you eat a surge token, a clone trooper cries in a corner.

So if a Unit has both attack and defense surges on it's card, surge tokens don't really do anything for it, correct?

Correct, but those kind of units are a minority in the game (currently), so most units can benefit from surge tokens.

That depends on faction. For Rebels, a huge majority of their units surge on attack and defense, and they have no units that don't surge on anything.

And yeah, I play Rebels and use Fleet Troopers a lot so darn. I probably don't have that much use for surg token giving effects.
