While Pursued by Shadow is potentially most dangerous, it is one of the rare shadows that can actually help a player. I love seeing that come out when I've used core Gandalf to quest!

Hi dalestephenson, sorry for delay. Oh, that's a really good unintended combo, it didn't come up to my mind.:) So I believe the same thing is related to Escort from Edoras , for example.

Escort from Edoras won't work, because if it's used to quest it will be discarded before the combat phase. But other one-turn allies like Elrond and Galadriel would benefit, and it's not too painful to return most Silvans to hand. If you can afford to replay more costly allies, it can also be a way to restore them to health.

Could be also good for Beorn , if he is seriously damaged, then you get him into hands for free, without any inconvenience. Ofc, you must pay for him 6 cost again, but in late game or when you have enough resources it shouldn't be a problem.

But tbh… I mostly had a bad experience with Pursued by Shadow , that I was forced to discard defending ally… thus one of my hero took direct damage. That's a quite troublesome effect, which may be followed by death of your hero.:/
