I was taught about embark and transport. I didn’t read it myself (foolish, I know). Now I wonder if I was living a lie.

I was taught, only single mini units can be transported. so example, Vader, Palp or veer each can be transported individually. But a unit of storm troopers cannot. So, I never paid the 15 points to use C3PO with R2 because it would prevent him from being able to be transported in the X-34.

I just read units can be transported and the leader must touch the vehicle that will transport the unit.

Multi-mini units can be transported, but only by units with Transport, and not Light Transport. So the Occupier can carry full units, but the X-34 can only carry single models.

Also, units with a single model are still units, and that single model is still the unit leader. Luke Skywalker is a unit, and his model is the unit leader. The same goes for Vader, AT-RT, X-35, etc.
