I'm looking into what Close Quarter's timing means for Verena if she's focused. The following is my interpretation, please point out whether I have made any mistakes in timings:

1. Verena declares an attack on an adjacent target while being Focused
2. Green dice added due to Focused condition
3. Roll dice, etc
4. Calculate damage, target is defeated (Still in step 7 of attack)
5. Verena interrupts with Close Quarters (before attack is resolved), declares attack on another target (is still Focused)
6. Green dice is added due to being Focused (!?)
7. Close Quarters attack resolved
8. Focused condition is discarded
9. Original attack is finally resolved

Seems correct by raw.

The "next step" is to defeat an adjacent hostile figure with the attack from Close Quarters and then interrupt with another Close Quarters.

So focused and hidden can be used multiple times with Close Quarters... interesting 🤔

There are a few other cases when the attacking figure can perform another attack during their own attack - for example when Greedo or Hired Gun is attacking another Greedo it gets pretty complex with all the Slow on the Draw s and Parting Shot s.
