Lemmings to the Slaughter (mafia)

He said he was given it but was told to get rid of it. So like a time bomb?

That's what I mean by variant of a vig claim. Unintentional perhaps, but if it's true it seems like decent odds the fruit caused the kill.

Let me put this this other way: the fruit doesn't kill people, period. XD

1. He is town and want to point out that maybe Gink dead is his fault to avoid us following the wrong direction. Problem here is that the fruit is obviously harmless, or at least it doesn't kill people, so he should know he didn't kill Gink.

Or the fruit is like playing hot potato. Whoever's holding it on night X dies.

Otherwise I agree with both scenarios being possible; I just don't think it's at all obvious the fruit is harmless.

@GhostofNobodyInParticular When you say you "were given" a fruit, do you know if it came from Pod on his own behalf or someone else's?

Don't saying it doesn't worth the test, but, I dunno, makes no sense.

Let's think: Ghost doesn't know what the fruit does. He gives it to Gink, Gink dies and flip town. He claim the chance of being responsible. Why?

1. He is town and want to point out that maybe Gink dead is his fault to avoid us following the wrong direction. Problem here is that the fruit is obviously harmless, or at least it doesn't kill people, so he should know he didn't kill Gink.

2. He is scum and claim the dead openly. The only point for this is to justify he visiting a dead guy just in case there is a tracker, watcher around. But even in that case, why the need to claim now. The good move would have been after the tracker/watcher claim.

I guess if the paranoia makes he think on a time bomb kind of fruit, then he being town makes sense.

But, for reasons, it still makes no sense to me...

Just saw this. I find this assessment odd, but will take it into account.

This is really enough crumbs to just make a loaf of bread instead. Did you give GNIPs the fruit?

Because at first glance that probably clears both of you.

I need sleep, will check in tomorrow morning.

I didn't.

I am Reading @The Jabbawookie as Town. I am Reading @Madaghmire as Town. And if this is @GhostofNobodyInParticular lying in plain sight than that would be a whole new thing.

I do not understand the @Ginkapo kill choice. At the end of yesterday he was clearly in the crosshairs of a push today (not just my suspicion and vote or the concerns of others but his own voting record). So either Gink was onto someone or Scum erred in their NK choice.

Then there’s the fruit. Here I am confused. I was pretty certain @ovinomanc3r was soft-claiming Strange Fruit Vender with his certainty about the fruit not killing. Now I am wondering if it’s just whoever has the fruit must compulsively vend it or something of that kind?

Where does that leave me?

Looking at the end of day votes (and non-votes) for where to go now...

I am online and willing to switch. Jabba sounds more town now.

Theory: @Bertie Wooster is Scum and knew both Jabba and Gink were both Town so was relaxed about voting either one. Also, @Ginkapo wanted to go on Bertie which could explain why he was killed. Also, Bertie is part of the ‘Mads offline = no kill, Mads online = kill’ theory which I’m not a fan of.

Night two begins, and will end at 1700 GMT tomorrow

Votes after Lord preyers will be counted as after time, we have compared various screenshots of the final minutes of day, it appears as tho post didn't appear chronologically at times with a flurry of posts being submitted at once, so I can only go with the timestamps the forum was showing me at the time.

(I also like the Bertie push because Ben was on it to and this might be helpful in working out where Ben stands on things)

jabba - Ovi

BerWoo - LP, Mads

Mads - BeWoo

Gnips - Jabba

Forty - Ninja

Ovi - Jabba

I am (or was) the sticky fruit vendor.

My problem reading this is that I know what the fruit does and I'm hardly trying to figure out how it ended on Ghost hands.

@FortyInRed, give me your read on Bertie Woo, please.

So what does it do, and to whom did you give it?

I don't really care if people want to vote me off for losing track of the game. As I said, I lost track because work picked up. But this sure looks premeditated to me. Like "hey when Gink shows up dead tomorrow we're gonna need to have a fall guy, lets try get them to hang Mad, it should be easy since he might not even show up to defend himself" kinda premeditated.

If I was scum, why would I kill Gink? That would be the dumbest thing I could do. It would have been much easier to let town kill him D3.

I'm suspicious now but I agree with his latest post that killing Gink would be a dumb move. I don't see Bertie making a move that dumb unless he's trying to trick us...

Oh man I love this argument. I've used it as scum myself, because its so fun.

You do it for a few reasons;

1. Gink is still vocal town, which even if he were wrong on his assumptions, makes him dangerous to leave alive. As such, he becomes a priority target.

2. As a meta call, Gink is a valuable target.

3. Because once he dies, his arguments gain the weight of knowing they came from a town source. If he's wrong, you can let him get killed. If he's right though, then he needs to be taken off the board and there needs to be a way to take suspicion off yourself. This argument is built in as long as town still has him in their sights. Once he's not the leading consensus scum suspect, it goes away, so he has to be night killed while it can still be deployed.

Okay. There could be another double voter, so it's time to claim. I'm the town tracker, but both my tracks have been unsuccessful (I'm assuming roleblocker is the culprit).
