The mission allows the cart's controller to make a Speed 2 move at the end of activations, but it doesn't specify anything else about the move's parameters. Is it possible to make a reverse move with it, or can it only pivot and go forward?

A speed-x move can never be a reverse. The cart can only pivot and move forward.
