Tried submitting this through the rules question form but got an error message upon submission, so I'm posting it here.

How do you determine MoV for the "winner" of a First Round Bye/Concession in a tournament? IS it 0% since they have no previous MoV score to average or do you retroactively determine MoV based on the average of all subsequent tournament rounds?

The fine folks at FFG OP facebook provided clarification. If you receive a bye/concession that would result in you receiving an MoV score based on your average MoV it would not be calculated for that round until The end of Swiss rounds.

Essentially, MoV only matters when determining top cut or final placing at end of the tournament if there is no top cut
