It's more that you seem to be hung up on having a teacher, something which has never happened to a Force-sensitive PC of mine in the last 30 years. Takes the fun right out of it.

If you want Enhance, just ask him and he might go for it. It is in the AoR core, and would be thematically appropriate for your racer. The child Anakin was obviously a young racer without force training, but utilizing such enhancement.

Enhancement is kinda pointless unles you're willing to invest massively in it for the AG boost, or are interested in playing a superhuman combatant who is leaping all over the place like Spider-Man.

I want stuff like Manipulate or maybe Ebb/Flow.

But " Force powers will also be limited initially to the basic variety (EotE types) to show the lack of training " suggest a fundamental disagreement on how the Force works, which makes playing Force-sensitive characer an unappealing prospect. This is not a character that has even the slightest inclination of seeking out a mentor to learn the ways of the Force.

@rocketrobie2 , @jhh3 , if you let me know when your characters are done, we can look into the start of the game.

@micheldebruyn , if you do want manipulate you can have that for the character, it makes sense for a vehicle focused game.

@Rabobankrider Sorry about the wait. I've got a good idea of what I'm going with now so I'll try to have something for ya today or tomorrow.

@rocketrobie2 , I look forward to seeing it

@Rabobankrider , by the way, I finished the sheet a couple days ago, probably should have mentioned it.

I messed up on the Obligation to credits ratio, I thought that 5 Obligation was worth 1,500 credits, but it's actually worth 1,000. I've adjusted accordingly.

What is your credit scheme like? How will we earn credits, about how many, and how frequently? (especially steady income vs. sporadic based on gigs vs. hand-waved "costs of living" and gig-based "spending money")
This isn't really an essential question, but it does help me for trying to plan out character development. Thanks!

@Rabobankrider Here's my (hopefully) finished character. Please let me know if my choice of vehicle and mod is ok. I used some obligation credits to pay for the extra so if thats not kosher then let me know and I'll fix it. I'm still a little new to the system I'll admit so apologies if I missed something obvious. https://swsheets.com/c/ixxlmxx5n-yoomnuff

You can only take up to +10 Obligation as per RAW, so you can take +10 for 2,500, but not +15 for 3,500. It also depends on starting Obligation as you cannot increase that by more than 100%.

@Rabobankrider , isn't it a bit early for Imperial weapons?

Can we choose are obligations?

Sorry about that, thanks for letting me know! I'll make the adjustments when I get a chance.

EDIT: I think I fixed it. Dumped the extra 5 obligation along with the ion turbine for the speeder and I swapped the E-11 with a BlasTech A280 to hopefully keep with the times. I'm a little fuzzy when it comes to when specific things came about during which era so apologies if this happens again.

@P-47 Thunderbolt , you will be able to acquire credits from a couple of sources. @Shlambate and @Edgehawk 's characters do have access to a garage, which will provide a monthly amount of credits (assuming it is maintained etc). However most credits will probably come from the races themselves. You guys will be starting at the bottom of the pile financially, but with career success you will be able to raise up. Of course crashes and vehicle damage in this system is expensive, so it's something to consider. Basic costs of living will be handwaved but more expensive purchases and expansions will be counted.

@jhh3 , looks good so far, when you have the obligation etc filled in you will be good to go.

@rocketrobie2 , you character looks like they are about ready to go! I will be sorting the ic post again in a day or so, and will link you guys in to it.

@micheldebruyn , if you want to join with a character, let me know!

Actually as this is going to potentially be a continuation of the old game ( @Shlambate and @Edgehawk may be re-joining or making new characters), you will start with 20 extra xp. You also get 8,000 credits to spend on a vehicle (this is a vehicle focused game after all), however left over credits aren't saved.

Do I get the 8,000 And 20xp?

@jhh3 I believe so, I used that in my character and haven't heard anything saying thats no bueno.
