I can't quote what Jabba sent me, but I don't see providing the exact name of my role as a violation of the rules. Anyone who has played a game Jabba has modded in past should agree it's consistent with how he names things.

Only if you're referring to the mechanical name. Anything else is flavor.
Otherwise all PMs are either personalized, or nobody is ever be able to fakeclaim. I'm not saying which is true, because the point of the approach is defeated either way.

In all role PMs I include both a "flavor name" (e.g. Pong Krell Traitorous Jedi) and a "mechanical name" (e.g. Serial Killer.)
Serial Killer can reasonably be considered open information.
Pong Krell Traitorous Jedi cannot, and is there solely for flavor. The same is true for specific wording.
Edit: this was a bad example because there wouldn't be multiple "Pong Krells" in a game. I've amended it to make more sense.

For the record, flavor implementation is a balance I can struggle with. If people would prefer I use the only the Mafiascum role PM format in the future, I understand and am happy to work with that because it's open information I can state up front.

I think Jabba is saying don't reveal your flavor--just saying that you're "town doctor" is sufficient.
If your PM says you're a "clone healer" or something specific like that, don't quote it.

Exactly. And if I told you your name was Longshot, you could tell people because that's personal to your PM.
Basically the point is this: if you have to specifically quote part of a mod PM to get results, there's a rule against quoting mod PMs.

It does seem rather condemning, which is annoying 'cause I didn't do anything. Odd as it seems, is there a possibility for both Forty and Mad to be docs? I would imagine that scum would as a result have pretty powerful roles, and I find the situation unlikely, but I can't think of anything else that would explain it. Unless somebody is bulletproof, but I hardly would advocate claiming so. I think there has been enough damage done already through claims.

For a 9-person game, seems very unlikely.
I don't know what scum roles might be but I do think the "cryptic" keyword favors scum over town. Depending on how many of us unknowingly have that hidden keyword, scumhunting is going to be more difficult when we send someone to the brig but don't know if they're town or scum afterwards.
