Ion Token and Vehicle

By Wotan135, in Rules

Hello,

I have question, if I attack vehicle with Ion x weapon (in attack pool) and vehicle will be damaged it get x Ion tokens. Vehicle loose x actions due to x ion tokens and in his activation's end phase discard all ion tokens.

But my main question is: If I damage vehicle which was already be activated in this turn it still get x damage tokens and get x Ion tokens.

What will happen to ion tokens in end turn phase, will be all ion tokens discard as all aim, dodge etc. tokens, or will be discard only one ion token as suppression token or they will stay until they will be discard on next turn due to vehicle new activation?

Thank you

From another thread I found:

"A vehicle needs to suffer a hit for the Ion to take effect, and o nl y after a vehicle that has Ion tokens finishes its activation it removes all Ion tokens.

Ion tokens don't effect compulsory or free actions

So even if a vehicle has completed it's activation that round , it keeps the token(s) until the next round and only removes these after it has completed it's activation."

Hope that helps

Just to be clear, at the end of a round you remove only the green tokens from units. All other tokens stay there till next following activation of those units

No, they have to wait till the end of the unit, that was affected, turn.

So in your example, with Ion 1 , you hit them (after they have activated) you get 1 Ion token. In the following turn if you can attack before they acrivate, they now have 2 Ion tokens.

They the activate , taking any free actions, but losing both actions due to the two Ion tokens, at the end of the vehicles turn it removes all Ion tokens ( in this case two of them one from the turn before)
