That would be too cool- something fully playable. Might depend what the new thing is and if it's still happening. Only problem is for custom app content it's likely some other skills would be needed such as with other Steam Workshop stuff- unless they found a way to make it easy

But some sort of new vault/app combo would be a gamechanger.

Might be deep into wishful thinking territory though.
