This is something I stumbled onto this morning and want to make sure I'm seeing this correctly. I usually play Rebels (my apologies to the Empirical Aficionados) so maybe should have paid more attention to this. My question is:
In the rules regarding Repulsor Vehicles, first, I understand a compulsory move is considered a standard move (Pg. 25 COMPULSORY MOVE ). Under the SPEEDER X rules (continued on pg. 64) it states "Units with the Speeder X keyword can move over terrain that has a height equal to or less than X". Also to state (on page 51) under the REPULSOR VEHICLE MOVEMENT SUMMARY, it lists that "While performing a standard move, a repulsor vehicle mini can move onto or over a piece of terrain that has a height that is equal to or less than a height of the unit leader's mini. (My italics)
Here's the question: If a speeder bike unit, although capable of height 1 terrain movement, can't see over a building in its path tracing from the unit's leader mini and the building is just under 1 range stick high but the unit's mini leader is lower than that, the unit can't move over that building. If this is correct my Empirical opponents have been zipping over buildings without restriction and it's MY FAULT for not catching this previously! Let me know what you troops think of it, is my interpretation correct? 📚
Respectfully,
Gunny
