Any source on travel costs by coach or boat? I have the old Death on the Reik supplement but have lost track of the insert with all the river info .

Have a group heading down from Ubersreik to Stromdorf.

I think the WFRP Companion from the 2nd edition had a section on the workings of the riverways, which might be useful if you can get hold of a copy. The coachman careers pamphlet from the black libraries website is good on travel by coach. It doesn't list prices for journeys, but it does give a list of example journeys with travel times and the number of stops at coaching inns for each. This might give you a basis for estimating costs.

The total cost of a journey from Ubersreik to Stormdorf should probably be whatever you think your players' characters can afford, depending on how much cash you want them to have left by the time they get to Stormdorf. If that seems arbitrary, well, the cost of travel in the Empire probably is.

If you were feeling mean you could set the price of passage fairly low, only for the characters to discover that the real cost of the journey quickly mounts up with every stop at an inn. Then they have the dilema of whether to pay up for a roof over their heads or spend the night under a hedge.

2nd edition game master's pack has a travel services price chart that can be convereted. also, dave allen's coachmen guide fan supplement for 2nd ed. is very useful and fun to read.
