Suppressive ?

By drail14me, in Rules

When attacking, suppressive is triggered when a Hit or Crit result is rolled in the dice pool. Do the dice from the weapon have to have the hit? For example, you add the mortar in with the shoretroopers attack. The mortar adds three white die. Does the hit have to be rolled on one of those white dice to trigger the suppressive from the mortar?

Suppressive actually triggers regardless of what you roll. It adds a guaranteed suppression in addition to any other suppression you would usually give.

The keywords affect the entire attack pool, so it doesn’t matter which dice the results are on.

Essentially if you roll a hit you are getting 2 suppression, but the keyword guarantees at least ome, hit or miss.
