I found the rules for Rest & Recovery too complex for nothing (uneccessary read in the rulebook each time), so I made them more straightforward and easier to remember.
Rest : after a full night's rest, make a Resilience check at difficulty 1 for Lightly wounded or 2 for Critically Wounded (modified by quality of rest, as usual).
For each success generated, recover 1 wound. You can also convert critical wounds with a severity equal or lower than boons generated into normal wounds.
If provided assistance by a character trained in medecine, add 1 expertise dice to the check.
If treated for long-term care, reduce difficulty by 1.
First-aid : for immediate care (while in combat or at a Rally step).
For simplicity, use the Splint & bandages action card (treat it as a basic action card without the requierments; yes I know, there's only one in the box, share it or make copies). You can use this action once per character per encounter and GM's call to use this card out of combat (as per first aid rules).
