"Worlds Collide" Launch comments

By freddones, in KeyForge

Today, Worlds Collide was released. Rule book version 1.5 ( https://images-cdn.fantasyflightgames.com/filer_public/7f/d1/7fd1d910-f915-4b2c-9941-9457a8ab693a/keyforge_rulebook_v11-compressed.pdf ) was released but no mention of new blue/orange markers that comes in new core set. I suppose the blue is "ward" and the orange is "enrage". (Reference: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2019/8/2/worlds-collide/ ) The problems with this manual:

  • It mentions "enrage" but don't show the marker image.
  • It don't mention Ward.
  • Can't search in text (ctrl +f in pc)

This manual have very little care. Who bought only boosters need to check multiple references to understand the new abilities. The manual's art scheme remembers the red first version. I wonder if this is just a mistake (something understandable) or is a sign of decline.

Yeah, the PDF should have been OCR, and the power & stun tokens aren't mentioned either, but I think the idea with tokens is you can use anything, as long as everybody is aware of what they mean.

Yes, I missed the "Ward" description in page 15. I was used with previous versions that "ctrl + f" allowed to seek text and now you need to read the entire book to seek for something. I blame again the poor done manual. But at this point, I'm not sure if somebody really cares with Keyforge's instructions booklet.

Here you go, I converted it into text format.

. . .

Or it would be if the max size wasn't .08M.

Ah! here we go. Dropbox link:

And I tested it and it did find "ward." 😁

I've seen FFG reply somewhere that they were looking into making the PDF searchable like earlier versions. Should be remedied pretty soon.
