Just curious how people play with the app. After you finish a campaign, do you keep your stuff (ie characters, skills, upgrades) and just keep going on the next one or do you start completely over?

Completely start over. You already end any campaign overpowered enough, there'd be no point in starting a new act 1 with 2k gold and 7-9 XP.
