The game Battle for Rokugan looks awesome. Seems like a Game of Thrones Lite. Seems to play well with two as well as three players. Is this Rising Sun without minis? Or even better than that?

My copy is being shipped. Meanwhile, I want to read more about the game or watch the game but nothing much is there. Has any played the game? Can anyone please share views, opinions, impressions on the game?

It's been out for over two years now and it's still one of the best games in my collection. It has beautiful components, a simple yet elegant design, and plays relative quickly meaning it gets to the table more frequently than many other games at my house. It's a little light on L5R flavor but could stand alone and be just as good. I am a little surprised that they have not expanded on this at all. Maybe it's in the background and will release as quietly as this did when it came out.

Very fun game... tense and lots of thinking.
