Is there anything in the rules to prevent a player from putting all four of the kneeling clone pose (two core sets) into a single squad and using them to take objectives? It seems like they would be easier to hide behind low walls and other terrain.
Sneaky Clone Unit
I think that you must use the correct unit leader model.
"Each unit has one unit leader.
»» For trooper units, the unit leader is represented by a mini that has been sculpted to depict a rank insignia, pauldron, or other indicator of leadership."
Apart from that, as far as I know nothing prevents you from putting 3 kneeling clones.

You could even swap the legs for the commander. To be clear I'm not actually going to build a squad like this but I couldn't help asking the question because the rules for conversion are so loose.
Edited by DraycosThere are no hard rules of what you can do by conversion or which exact models you need to use. But be aware that when it comes to abusive use of the conversion rules, tournament organizers have ABSOLUTE POWER ;).
Well ask yourself “why do I want to change the model is it”
1: because it looks cool
or
2: to gain an unfair advantage
guess which one gets you into trouble 😋
If a TO decides a player is modelling for advantage he might ban the unit at best and DQ the player at worst.
Thanks for the answers guys. As I said I have no intent to do this. I was just curious if there was anything in place to prevent something like this showing up at a tournament table.
Also remember the standard of reciprocity. What I cannot see, cannot see me. So while they may grab an objective, you'd be limiting the unit greatly. They might be able to share some tokens, but things like Fire Support would require the kneeling unit to be able to see the target. Not to mention if you don't have LoS, you cannot even share tokens. Which is a lot of points for a marginally productive gimmick.
