Force Reflexes and the 2 actions you get

By Alpha 11, in Rules

Ok with Force Reflexes, if you use it, does it count to using 1 of your 2 actions, if so, why get it, if you can just issue Luke/whoever a dodge token.

It's a free action and does not count towards the 2 actions you get each turn. The little symbol next to it is an indication that it is a free action. If you look next to Luke's Jump 1 ability, you will see a different symbol which indicates that it is not a free action and as such costs one of your actions in a turn. Keep in mind that Force Reflexes also taps, which means you can't use it again until you take a Recover action (or something else untaps it, like Vader or Obi-Wan's Master of the Force ability).

Thanks. I was seeing that icon, but somehow my brain wasn't registering that it was there. Stupid me.
