Issue commands

Can i use Turning the Tide on vehicles outside if my commander's range?

I think No

If the vehicles are in range of an operative?

I still think not

No, you cannot issue orders to any unit outside of the Command Bubble (typically range 3) of the nominated Commander.

If you are nominating an Operative, you can only use that Operative’s command cards unless your commander is no longer in the game and your Operative is your new commander. This includes the generic command cards like “Turning the Tide”.

Oh, also, if you have two commanders and two vehicles. Say one vehicle is in the command bubble of one commander and the other vehicle in the bubble of the other commander. Since you can only nominate one commander to give the order, you would only be able to issue an order to one of those vehicles from one commander. You cannot split orders between commanders.

Note in this situation though all support and heavy units get the inspire ability, this isnt dependant on getting an order

Yes, this is also true. Thanks for clarifying! This of course includes all support and heavies, regardless of range from the commander as the card states.
