Boba Fett buys furniture to win the game

By Kafitrar, in Star Wars: Outer Rim

The player playing Boba Fett had 9 fame, and Hired Help and Saw Gerrera as crew. He bought Dejarik Holotable as his market action, thereby winning the game. Because it says, "While you have 2 or more crew, you have 1 additional fame."

When I was a little kid, I was the first one in my neighborhood to get a Nintendo when it first came out. All my older cousins started coming over to play all the time. It made me feel like I had 1 additional fame.

This is my main issue with Outer Rim - that it's a simple race to ten, without any real 'end game'. I do think I'd prefer the game if you had to actually achieve something major to win your last fame, but at this stage it's just how the game is. 'Buying furniture' isn't really any worse than hitting a random patrol from a faction you've been friendly with all game.

You're playing smugglers and other scum in the Outer Rim. What else should be the victory condition?
