Hey, Ihave been playing armada for about a year love this game and have 6 expansions. I play with family members and friends but I would like to bring it to a higher level and get promos. I live in Fairfax Va how should I get started? Totally new at this. Thanks.
How to get started on organized play?
1) Get involved with local stores and local groups on Facebook to find who is holding events,
2) Attend.
Seriously. That is it. If you’ve been playing and have the basics, all you need to “get involved” is to get involved!
As long as you have the basic framework of rules knowledge, the rest (the meta, attitudes, tournament regs) are either lighteningly straightforward, or readily covered by the community (generally one of the most casual and welcoming there is) on the fly!
For example, if you’re in VA, then “NOVA fleet” on Facebook is a good start
