That it is.

A lot of the actual mechanics will be executed by the mod, and you'll have teammates to help, but it still takes some thinking and there is a learning curve.

What jabba said, basically what each player will be doing is useing a spreadsheet to keep track of Planets and Ships they control and to build new ones! Most the mechanics are more of what the mod (in this case me) will be using.

It's not to hard to pick up but it is recommended that you have access to a computer at least every couple days in order to fill out the spreadsheet (it's possible to do it over phone, I do somtimes, but it's clunky)

I love these strategy games, but yeah. Two rounds is more complicated than modding a game of Mafia.

Your starting fleet will have a max credit value of 250c with a maximum of 200c in ships and a max of 100c in squads.

Also for your starter fleets, any credits leftover from the 250c you have available will be usable the first turn for building or fuel.

Are the planet keywords explained somewhere?

The keywords were not in the Rules officially yet (I forgot I pulled them out) and I tried to add them but it's being janky right now.

But basically SHIPYARD: this planet makes ships for 80% of their cost

FIGHTER PLANET: this planet makes Squads for 75% of their cost

SPYNET: every turn you may select a target planet to receive a detailed report of what is happening there.

And fortifications have to be built by the planet they are on

Quick Question before we get too far involved:

Would you guys rather Squads

A) have to be housed in a Ship at ALL times (so they can only be constructed if a ship is in orbit to pick them up, and they could not be left unattended at a planet)

or

B) Squads need to be transported but can be left by themselves at planets (and can be constructed without a host ship present)
