Standby and Standby and Standby

By JediPartisan, in Rules

Not sure why anyone would move their unit into such a situation, but if you had 3 units with Standby and a unit moved into range 2, would all three be able to trigger their Standby? So all three units could attack off the same trigger? The Standby listing in the RRG doesn’t say anything about this.

Is there anything about timing that would prevent this? So if you get the first Standby attack, the trigger has been interrupted so you can’t have a second, or third cause the trigger was spent? There are several rules that elude to that fact, but nothing concrete that I can remember.

All 3 units would be able to attack the unit that moved into range as long as that unit meets the criteria of line of sight and range.

even if they have relentless: "A standby token may be spent before any effects that trigger after an attack, attack action, move, or move action."

Yup, you definitely get to use all 3 before anything else happens. They all trigger at the same time, and then you get to choose the order in which they resolve.

Can be pretty strong against tauntauns since you get to shoot them before they get the dodge token from Agile!

Good to know, thanks guys.
