Energy Shield

By Alucardz23, in Imperial Assault Rules Questions

I have a question regarding energy shields.

In a situation when a figure is on an energy shield, can ranged figures attack the figure that is on the energy shield?

If a figure with reach is attacking a figure that is on an energy shield, the figure with reach has to attack the figure adjacent to the shield? (as it doesnt have LOS)

On page 5 of the HotE rules, last sentence under "Energy Shield" says that you can draw LOS to figures on the energy shield. The section also states that it does not block adjacency.

The energy shield only blocks line of sight on its "far end", i.e. line of sight can be drawn into the space, but not through it (both into and out of it). Please see the rules and examples in the HotE rulebook and/or the Consolidated Imperial Assault Rules ( http://www.iki.fi/a1bert/TheConsolidatedImperialAssaultRules.pdf ).
