Ah wait, I just found the thread: http://fortressat.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&Itemid=712&func=view&catid=10&id=49529 You'll notice that I had asked whether it was co-op or competitive and didn't get a response in the thread from the original poster, but I was sent a private message shortly thereafter explaining that he couldn't divulge anything more about it until it was publically announced.

... and that's precisely why I doubt it.

It would be very sloppy to leak information like this before a public announcement. Unless I am mistaken, test players generally have to sign an NDA. Spreading that kind of information regardless is a sure way to get into trouble, especially if the number of people with access to the information is small.

I don't doubt for a second that the store owner in question _believes_ to have seen something. I just doubt that it actually is what he thinks it was.

You need to consider the information in the context it's in, taken as a whole. As I described, these are good friends of Richard's who game with him all the time and frequently refer to his designs and playing his prototypes. They were talking about Defenders of the Realm and how that played months before it was announced to be published. Same thing with this. Only difference is that in this case, FFG didn't want it discussed further until they could make an announcement themselves. In any case, whatever... don't believe it if you don't want to. It's not a big deal. But I'm pretty certain it'll be a reality, the only question is when.

I wanted to throw in my 2 cents on the previous discussion as to if people wanted more expansions.

I already feel that my collection is too "bloated" with every expansion (apart from Innsmouth). Playing with everything has been alot less satisfying then in the good old days.

I now mix in expansions depending on player number or desired theme and as such I will definatly want to keep supporting the AH series.

More toys to play with is always a good thing.

The only thing I dont want is a brand new edition and starting from scratch, the AH series in its current state is already a clear winner.

And here's the official announcement about the AH dice game, finally: Elder Sign

Um... I told you so. lengua.gif

Oh my. That looks good. I kinda wish it had new art though.

Yeah, I actually forgot about that game when Mansions was announced. Man, it's been a while.

Looks good!

Arkham universe is exploding outside borders of human imagination... I hope the market won't be too crowded, but... if the games are good, keep'em coming!

yeah Julia, thats my fear, to dodge that each "Arkham Horror label" game has to offer something unique . I see that in MoM but Im not convinced ES pulls that off, at least enough. But FFG marketing is smart enough to know thats a likely problem.
