No time shananigans

Hi all,

I am contemplating a rebel Hoth themed army and came upon the concept below: I want to check the combos work as I think:

Luke

Leia

Veterans with HQ uplink x 2

Veterans Emplacements x 2

Tauntans with HQ uplink x 3

So I play “No time for sorrows” and issue orders to Luke and Leia.

I then trigger all HQ uplinks which mean all units have an order token.

This means that all 9 units can now do a speed 1 move.

Additionally Veterans get a dodge

Tauntans get dodge because they moved and due to relentless can now attack.

Finally if Luke’s move put him into melee it triggers charge - and he can attack.

Is that all correct ???

Possibly hard to set up (especially the attacks) but seems really, really, good to me.

Not sure about the rest, but Luke needs to perform a move action to get an attack, and No Time for Sorrows doesn't give him a move action, it gives him a speed 1 move, IIRC.

Thanks... of course. Good distinction. A move is not a move action.

That wouldn't trigger relentless the. either.

Just double checked and Agile should trigger though.

So move and get dodges - but no bonus attacks

Yup that’s all correct, with the exception of Charge and Relentless. It’s worth noting that you would need to ensure that the emplacements are in range of the veterans after the veterans have done their move, due to the order of operations (NTFS triggers “when”, and Coordinate triggers “after”).
