Its not jumping out at me in the rulebook, but do normal rules apply for difficult terrain etc when a unit has to move towards a table edge. Do you make a reduced move or make a full move around said obstacle. Likewise where a wall or building is in the way. Do you clamber or go around?
Panic movement and obstacles.

When performing its move action, a panicked unit must attempt to move off of the battlefield as efficiently as possible. That is, the unit must move the entire length of
the movement tool in the direction of the battlefield edge
to which that unit is closest. If a unit can move off the battlefield more efficiently by moving along an indirect path that avoids terrain, the unit should move along that path.
Quoted from the RRG; you take the indirect path.

Cheers. The 'efficient' part stumbled me. The unit was chewie and the obstacle was a barricade but cheeie ignores difficult terrain so we just sent him over the barricade. Efficientcy didnt come into it. Was that correct?

I would expect so then.
Thanks
