“A Rebel figure can interact with the captured officer to perform the following:

• The hero and the captured officer each move 2 spaces.”

"Move X Spaces" is different from "gain X movement points" in a few ways. First, all movement has to happen right away (unlike gaining movement points, which go into your "pool" and can be spent later in your activation). Second, moving spaces does not take into account extra costs for difficult (i.e. blue) terrain or for moving through hostile figures.

So, in short, no

"Move X spaces" does pop up in a few other places in IA as well (forgetting where atm). So it's a good clarification to get out of the way. ^^
