Yes, indeed. I like what it's available in FaD corebook, but I'm looking for a more organized layout and NPC examples.

Yep, I can definitely understand that.

Do you know if they’ve added to the number of Inquisitors that have been statted out or if we still only have the three from DoR? Always interesting to pull back the curtain to see how the devs have followed or ignored their own rules/guidance.

a two-page layout detailing how to create stormtroopers and different type stormtroopers could be nice. Actually, the same goes for Inquisitors and even Bounty hunters.

How to create Inquisitors is covered in the F&D core rules. How to create Bounty Hunters is covered in EotE.

You know, I never noticed the Bounty Hunter section, or maybe I just forgot about it. Doesn’t really matter, but thank you for reminding us. I’m going to have to re-read that section of the EOTE CRB.

I know. I also said this:

The various Stormtroopers (excepting Deathtroopers) are hardly different enough to warrant separate entries.

Well, page 60 is titled "Stormtroopers" and up to page 63 it shows stat blocks for; Stormtroopers (Minion), Stormtrooper Sergeant (Rival), Cave Trooper (Minion), Range Trooper (Minion), Sandtrooper (Minion), Scout Trooper (Minion), Shoretrooper (Minion), Snowtrooper (Minion), and Swamptrooper (Minion).

And each of those minions has almost exactly the same Characteristics and skills. They could have compressed them and fit more of something else in there.

I appear to have missed this for the past few years, but where in the EotE CRB do they cover bounty hunter adversary creation? I know of three statblocks for Apprentice, Journeyman and Master Hunter, but nothing else?

@BluSunrize

The closest thing I could find is "A GM's Guide To The Nemesis" in the EotE GM's Guide. However, it's not Bounty Hunter specific.

Maybe in No Disintegrations? I don't have my books on me at the moment

I have to say that one of the most disappointing things about FFG has been their handling of Silhouette information for creatures/animals. There is a system in the game for gaining a creature companion based upon a calculation that requires this information and yet about half of all creatures listed in every book, this one included, are lacking that information. I hope that those who submit info for these books recognize that this is a piece of information that should not be left off.

I hate the layout of their stat blocks in general. I wish they’d at least bold the names of talents, abilities, and items so that they stand out from the list.

Wouldn't mind if they’d include the abbreviations of the ability scores tied to skills either. No matter how many times I run a game, I always draw a blank when I reference them in the moment.

Unless otherwise specifically noted, a creature or species is Sil 1.

That should be the assumption, but I think Khazadune is right -- writers often seem to overlook silhouette on creatures that should be given one. The fact that Jaws were not given silhouette 0—despite being the same size as Ewoks, which were, and despite being explicitly called out as silhouette 0 creatures in the F&D CRB—speaks to a wider problem.

Any weapons, equipment, and ships in the book?

Nope.

I would call Jawas Sil 0. I`'ve never seen one side by side (obviously), but comparing them to R2-D2 (from memory), I`'d say that Jawas are a little smaller than Ewoks. I don't know what criteria they use to determine Silhouettes beyond roughly Human-sized equals Sil 1, but it seems reasonable that any species that is half-the-size-or-less of a human should be Sil 0.

They already had such inconsistency with the Lannik (average height 1.2m, Sil 1) vs Toydarian (average height 1.2m, Sil 0) and now we have it again with the Chadra-Fan (average height 1m, Sil 0) vs Jawa (average height 1m, Sil 1). Then we have the Hutt (Sil 1) vs the Dowutin (Sil 2), so again the Sil rules are totally a butt-pull.

Plus let us consider deviations within races. Could a particularly short human be sil 0?

Of course, the fact is that character Silhouette doesn't really matter all that much. I made a recent thread on this, and the effects of character Silhoutte are so minor that it's almost a vestigial rule that could easily be pruned from the system and most situations would hardly be affected.

Just for fun, consider that a Silhouette 0 Chadra-Fan with Brawn 3 has the same lifting/carrying Encumbrance capacity as a Silhouette 2 Dowutin with Brawn 3. Oddly enough, both of them are 8 Encumbrance if someone needs to lift and carry their body.

It's pets I'm concerned about.

Ah. I thought this was about Jawa PCs being Sil 1. Not that those couldn't be pets...

Just cause the whole Jawa Sil thing bugged me.

I sent off a question to the magic 8 ball and got this response:

Jawas should indeed be Silhouette 0; that’s an error in the book both in the NPC and PC areas.

Hope this helps and thanks for playing!

I wonder: What are the odds of that showing up as official errata within the next year?

I think your prediction is far too optimistic.
