Clone Wars Rules Dump?

By rasmussen81, in Rules

Is there any word about when we’ll see new rules explaining the Clone Wars rules?

I’m excited to learn more about those new tokens and such!!

Someone should eMail Alex about them, considering no-one asked about the new tokens and stuff at the Q&A.

In all of those questions nobody asked, did anyone not ask when new rules would be shared through a rules book update? 😏

I'd guess probably a week before the core set drops, if not before.

I agree with Alpha17, a week or so before the release using new rules is around when the RRG is typically updated. It's not like we really need the rules before then anyway.

Unless we want to proxy things!

Anyone think we’ll get a separate RRG for this new core set? Otherwise the current one will get pretty bloated.

Fair enough.

Why would we get a new RRG? The rules are the same regardless of which armies are on the field, and the rule books for many miniatures games are the size of textbooks. Since the RRG is purely digital, it's not like there's an increase to printing costs.

Here's a rule for you guys:

Units with the "Clone Trooper" keyword can spend the green tokens of friendly "Clone Trooper" units at range 1.

Green tokens means Aim, Dodge, Standby and Surge tokens.

Standby could be an extremely powerful thing to share, depending on how it works. The unit standbys out of range of an enemy, but the unit that spends it is in range. No risk of losing it due to suppression, no real way to counter.
