New to the game and have some questions

By VandalNoire, in Rules

So as stated above, I'm new. I tossed the build instructions for my Rebel Pathfinders not knowing that errata were printed on the back of those, I found out after buying Palpatine and Rebel command squad. What, if any, special rules to Pathfinders have?

Also for those Rebel officers I see that he costs 50 points but there is also a mini card for him that's 19 points. Do I pay 69 points for 1 officer or 50 and if I wanted another 19? Finally can the command squad be broken up so that for instance the medical droid can break cohesion and follow another squad and the mech droid can follow the AT-RT or must the squad stay in cohesion and vehicles and infantry need to be near the command squad? I assume the later but want to make sure.

All the special rules for the Pathfinders are on their unit card, and the full rules for each of their "keywords" are found in the RRG which is on the product page for Legion.

The mini card for the officer is used when you take the model to fill the infantry upgrade slot in a standard Corps unit, note this does not change the type of the unit to Commander.

As well, there is no such thing as a "command squad." The droid upgrades are taken as upgrades to standard units and must maintain cohesion with the unit leader.

If possible, I recommend you find a local Legion group to help you learn the rules. Regardless, I suggest you take the time to read the Learn to Play rules and the Rules Reference Guide (RRG).
