I dont get this guy... 4 fate, but he can only have a max of 4/4 skill when he attacks on the 3rd conflict.

Why would I ever use him?

The card is pretty bad. Maybe someday in the distant future there will be a good reason to run him.

I theory HMT Lion with Unicorn splash you can grab 4 military rings (assuming your opponent attacks twice and you win every conflict and win 1 by 5 or more to turn on your box) and have him +8/+8 for the final conflict. There is also Rally to the cause which could result in 2 claimed rings before he goes in for the third conflict of the same type on your second attack. Its corner case scenarios but could make the waste of card space useful I suppose.
