So, with all of the talk about fixing Ardus, I wanted to see if I could make a competitive list which emphasizes his Host of Crows ability. I think this ability is underappreciated, but I’ll let the veterans tell me if I’m wrong... 🤪

The Reanimates sit back and lob Blight on I3 with a File Leader to help them against a charge. Archers on one flank, Ardus on the other to protect them as needed.
Note that the use of Ardus here allows the Reanimates to have the Support Carrion Lancer which is gives them something meaningful to do while standing there waiting to be charged. Against a force with ranged attacks, I’m thinking you use the Blights to shut them down while Ardus charges forward and your archers shoot to kill. I guess the Reanimates could also move forward while Blighting if needed...
