Healed Medical Droid

By Miles C, in Rules

My medical droid has used its ability to remove two wounds, and thus has two wound tokens on it. It is then defeated and removed from the table. A second medical droid heals the trooper unit containing the first medical droid and i put the first medical droid back on the table. Does the first medical droid still have the wound tokens on it from the healing it did prior to being defeated? Or, were those tokens removed when it was defeated? Thus allowing the first medical droid to heal twice more?

Nothing in the rules indicates that you must remove tokens or something from a unit as soon as it is defeated, so I'd say that those tokens remain there, so it cannot use it's abbility again that game

Alright, I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt when you mean removed two wounds, that you meant within two or more turns of removing only one. That medical droid has Treat 1, it can only heal 1 wound.

Page 53 in rule book says: " When a unit uses the treat x: capacity y ability, place one wound token on the
card that has the treat x: capacity y keyword, then choose a friendly non-emplacement trooper unit at range 1 and in line of sight and remove up to x wound tokens from that unit or restore up to x miniatures to that unit.
"

It is a free action non-movement, you can't do any action more than once per round other than movement unless some game effect is allowing that which isn't the case here. Page 32 about Free actions say so in many different ways.

Answer to your question, no. Reason is you put the tokens on the card , not the medical droid. So far nothing removes anything off of cards.
