What scale do we think the minis for this game will be in? Same as Imperial Assault?

I would guess a Fallout like scale, which is bigger than IA.

I really hope so. the IA minis are great, but the scale can make them a real chore to paint. The Legion scale is much more accessible.

I would be perfectly fine with a bigger plastic.

According to the guys who are in Nuremberg right now and have seen german copy of the game, the (hero) minis are about the same size as the Fallout ones.

What does that mean? I never saw Fallout miniatures? Are their size like Imperial Assault or Descent?

Fallout minis are a bit larger than Descent/IA, when we unboxed Fallout, I was quite surprised by the size of the minis. I'll try to make a comparison photo of the miniatures from Fallout and Imperial Assault next week, when I'll be at my friends house, who owns both the games. The quality is about the same, I guess.

So, I just compared the Fallout and Imperial Assault minis aaaand... they are the same size. I don't know why I thought that the Fallout minis are bigger (maybe because of the Supermutant and guy in Power armor, which are slightly bigger), sorry for the misinformation, guys 😶

Dang, I was actually hoping they were slightly bigger just for ease of painting alone.. but that's fine, Sorastro has done a great job with that size of mini already.

Hopefully the figures are good quality otherwise I plan to proxy at least the heroes.

Neither am I, Shironeko. For example, did somebody at Fantasy Flight seriously think that miniature looks anything like Aragorn. The minis should resemble the art on the hero cards, in my opinion.

I did like that the tiles actually looked larger than I had expected in the pics from Germany.
