Veteran Turret Gunner

I’m not sure if this is a bug, but Veteran Turret Gunner is available for the Y-Wing in Hyperspace format, but not available for the Y-Wing (or ARC-170, or K-Wing, or VCX-100 Light Freighter) in extended format… though it is available to the YT-2400 and YT-1300 (YT-1300 in both Extended and Hyperspace).

Is this a bug, or is it working as intended?

Veteran Turret Gunner requires the "Rotate Turret" action. Once you add a Dorsal or Ion turret to the Y-Wing in Extended then the Veteran Turret Gunner becomes an available upgrade.

That makes sense, but I think where there's an actual bug is on the TIE/sf. Veteran Turret Gunner doesn't show up as an option for its gunner slot, even though it does have the rotate action - its rotate is just as a linked action only, so that must be throwing the app's logic off?

Hello. It's not a bug. Linked actions are different from simple actions. VTG requires the simple rotate action, which the TIE/SF does not have. So it cannot equip this gunner at all.
